Just returned from a really pleasant five night stay in room two at Lavinia house. The room is spacious with a kingsize bed, a settee and a view out over the crescent towards the sea. It’s a a great location which is only five minutes walk to the famous whalebone arch and north bay seafront in one direction and a short walk to the hustle and bustle of the harbour in the other. Whether it’s advice on things to do in Whitby or helping you with parking, hosts Mark & Lyndsey couldn’t be more helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here and hopefully we’ll return again in the future for another stay.- Andy & A

Lovely building, beautiful, large, immaculate room with a very comfortable 4 poster bed, great hosts, fantastic view and location. Highly recommended. - Sue and G
